President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev paid a working visit to China
At the invitation of President of the People's Republic of China Xi Jinping, President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev payed a working visit to China on August 30 - September 3, 2025.
A guard of honour was lined up in honor of the head of state at Binhai International Airport in Tianjin.
President Ilham Aliyev and First Lady Mehriban Aliyeva were welcomed by Li Lecheng, Minister of Industry and Information Technology of the People's Republic of China, and other officials.
In the framework of the visit, the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev held a bilateral meeting with the President of the People's Republic of China, Xi Jinping, and also participated in the Summit meeting of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization in the "SCO plus" format at the invitation of the President of the People's Republic of China, as well as in the ceremonial events and military parade dedicated to the 80th Anniversary of the Chinese people’s resistance against Japanese aggression and the Victory in World War II.
