Minister of Economy of Azerbaijan Shahin Mustafayev paid an official visit to Shaanxi province.

A delegation headed by the Minister of Economy of the Republic of Azerbaijan Mr. Shahin Mustafayev also visited city of Xian, Shaanxi province within the framework of the visit to China.

Delegation included Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Azerbaijan to the PRC, H.E. Mr. Akram Zeynalli, Chairman of Azerbaijan Railways CJSC Mr. Javid Gurbanov, Chairman of Azerbaijan Caspian Shipping Company CJSC Mr. Rauf Valiyev, Director-General of Port of Baku Mr. Taleh Ziyadov, head of Azerbaijan Fund for promotion of export and investment (AZPROMO) Rufat Mammadov and others.

Mr. Shahin Mustafayev met with the Governor of Shaanxi province Mr. Liu Guozhong. Mr. Mustafayev also met with the chairman of Silk Road International Trade Chamber Mr. Lu Jianjun. A presentation co-organized by the Embassy of the Republic of Azerbaijan to the PRC and the Silk Road International Trade Chamber on the “Role of Trans-Caspian International Transport Route (the Middle Corridor) in the realization of Belt & Road Initiative and investment opportunities of Azerbaijan” was held within the framework of the visit.
