The Novruz celebration is organized in Beijing by the embassies of Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Kirgizstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan

Hosted by the embassies of Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Kirgizstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan Novruz celebration organized in Beijing. The celebration was attended by over 400 guests, including General Secretary of Shanghai Cooperation Organization, state officials of China, as well as the heads and employees of diplomatic missions of CIS with their families, and media representatives.

Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Akram Zeynalli noted that Novruz, one of the most sacred holidays of our people, is celebrated in Azerbaijan in the state level. Ambassador said that Novruz, which is celebrated by more than 300 million people in the world, incorporates ideas of peace, friendship and tolerance. Ambassador Akram Zeynalli thanked guests for attending the event and congratulated them on the occasion of Novruz Holiday.

During the festival, a concert program was also organized by the representatives of participating countries. Azerbaijani music performed by Huseyn Malikov, Nigar Shabanova, and accompanied by tar player Kamal Nuriyev, and kamancha player Ceyhun Muradov.

Within the framework of the celebration, Azerbaijani national sweets, foods and drinks were presented at the Novruz table.
