In China, Shenzhen was held a presentation on Azerbaijan's investment opportunities
A presentation on Azerbaijan's investment opportunities was held in Shenzhen, one of the most economically developed cities in China and considered to be the technology center of the country.
The presentation at the building of the Shenzhen Regional Economic Cooperation Association was attended by heads and representatives of Shenzhen City and the Quandong Province, as well as well-known companies in Hong Kong Special Administrative Region.
President of the Shenzhen Regional Economic Cooperation Association, Chen Zhiyun, noted that Azerbaijan's rapid economic development has attracted foreign investors, influential companies, including Chinese investors.
Taking into account the growing interest of Chinese investors in Azerbaijan, Chen Zhiyun, who unites more than 100 companies around the world, said he decided to hold a special presentation and talked about his organization's relations with Azerbaijan. It was noted that the Shenzhen Regional Economic Cooperation Association has plans to create the "Azerbaijan-China Free Economic Industrial Estate" in the Garadag district of Baku. In this regard, the Association has also signed a document on cooperation between the Association and the Garadagh District Executive Authority in the creation of a campus.
Speaking about the history and current state of bilateral relations between Azerbaijan and China, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People's Republic of China to Azerbaijan Akram Zeynalli said that the relations established through the Silk Road have become stronger in the modern era. In accordance with the instructions and recommendations of the Presidents Ilham Aliyev and Si Cinpin on the expansion of cooperation between the two countries, the relevant structures of both countries operate efficiently.
Speaking about the economic development of our country, Ambassador Zeynalli spoke about the achievements of Azerbaijan, which is the leading state in the region, from the country's comprehensive progress, the successful oil strategy and reforms implemented, spoke about the favorable geographical position of the republic, the East-West, South-North transport corridors passing through our country, as well as the Baku-Tbilisi-Kars line providing the shortest railway connection between Europe and Asia.
He noted that the Azerbaijani state attaches great importance to the development of non-oil sector, diversification of the economy, created all conditions for the activity of foreign companies.
Ambassador Akram Zeynalli noted that Chinese companies are successfully operating in Azerbaijan, adding that more Chinese investors will invest in our country, create new businesses and export products produced to the neighboring countries will be effective.
At the presentation were demonstrated video materials about Azerbaijan's modern development and economic potential. The Shenzhen Regional Economic Cooperation Association and the XIX Bureau of the China Railway, as well as companies intending to establish production facilities in the town, signed protocols of intent on the construction of the "Azerbaijan-China Free Industrial Economic Zone" in Baku's Garadagh district.
It should be noted that a special Azerbaijan investment center was set up to attract Chinese investors to our country at the building of the Shenzhen Regional Economic Cooperation Association.
At the meeting Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People's Republic of China to Azerbaijan Akram Zeynalli, President of the Association Chen Ciun, Executive Director of the China Railway Bureau, Cao Quochi, heads of various companies exchanged views on the development of economic relations between Azerbaijan and China.
