President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has met with President of “China National Electric Engineering” Zhao Hui.

President of China National Electric Engineering Zhao Hui said that the intention protocol was signed on construction of a tire plant in Sumgayit Chemical Industry Park on April 24 in Beijing.  Saying that they have implemented several projects in various fields in the country, Zhao Hui expressed his satisfaction with the investment environment in Azerbaijan, the conditions created for foreign investors and thanked the Head of State for that.

President Ilham Aliyev said that the development of the non-oil sector is a priority field in our country, adding that 10 documents on cooperation in various fields were signed yesterday and that many investments will be invested in Azerbaijan's industrial sector.  Speaking about special tax regimes in the Sumgayit Chemical Industrial Park, the head of state praised the fact that China National Electric Engineering created its own enterprise in the Chemical Industry Park as the next resident, adding that it would increase Azerbaijan's export capacities.  The Head of State underlined that there are good investment opportunities in our country and that according to the World Bank's "Doing Business" report, Azerbaijan is on the 32 level and is among the 10 countries that implement the most reforms in the world.  Noting that Azerbaijan has achieved great success, President Ilham Aliyev emphasized that foreign investment in our country is maintained at a high level and that it has increased the attractiveness of our country for foreign investors.
