The article analyzes the development of the country over the past 26 years following the return of the great leader Heydar Aliyev to Baku at the insistent demand of the Azerbaijani people.  It is noted that this period has opened a new page in the history of Azerbaijan, and the social and political stability that has emerged has brought unprecedented development in all areas of life.

The article gives readers an idea of the succession of Azerbaijan's national political doctrine.  It informs that the strategic course set up by Heydar Aliyev in 1993 was successfully continued by President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev.

Aslan Aslanov, the current president of the Asia-Pacific News Agencies (OANA), will convey to readers the importance of the transnational energy and transport projects implemented by Azerbaijan in the years of independence, especially on the initiative and participation of our country.

Overall, China Daily, with more than 100 million print and online subscribers, is one of the most influential newspapers not only in China, but also in the region and around the world.  The number of readers of the newspaper abroad is greater than that of local readers.  This is an indication that it is a global publication.

The cooperation agreement between AZERTAC and China Daily was reached during a meeting of Aslan Aslanov, Chairman of the Board of the Agency with the leadership of China Daily, during a visit to Beijing last June to attend the first Media Summit of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization.  Since then, AZERTAC and China Daily have been sharing information on important developments in the socio-political, economic, cultural and other fields.

AZERTAC was awarded the honorary International Media Partner 2019 by China Daily in May of this year for its close cooperation with the newspaper, information sharing between the two countries, and active participation in newspaper projects.
