During the acquaintance with the Maiden Tower, the guest was informed about the history of the monument, one of the symbols of Baku.  It was said that the Maiden Tower, founded in the 7th and 6th centuries BC, was restored in the 12th century.  The monument, which is 28 meters in height and 16 to 16.5 meters in diameter, consists of a true cylindrical castle and a large support structure adjacent to the south.  Conservation work was carried out in 2009-2013 on the instructions of President Ilham Aliyev to preserve this world-renowned monument and deliver it to future generations.

Reconstruction of the stone exposition on the territory of the Siratagly religious-architectural complex near the Maiden Tower caused great interest of the guest.

During the visit, members of the delegation were informed about the Icheri Sheher State Historical and Architectural Reserve, which is included in the UNESCO World Heritage List.  It was noted that in the territory of Icheri Sheher there are unique historical architectural monuments of different ages and are protected by the state.

Guests enjoyed the taste of freshly baked Tandar bread and continued to familiarize Icheri Sheher with electric cars.

Then they got acquainted with the masterpieces of medieval Eastern architecture, the Shirvanshahs Palace complex - a world-renowned historical and architectural monument.

It was reported that the historic monument, built in the early 15th century, is located at the highest point of one of the hills of Icheri Sheher.  The monument is clearly visible from the Caspian Sea and the surrounding highlands.  The complex still retains its historical and architectural advantage.
